When you watch 40 episodes of a third class Indian family comedy show called “YES BOSS” back to back and actually laugh while watching it, you know you are sick!!!
Before watching that I watched a movie “Amal” in which nobody from director, producer, writer to actor(ess) knew what they were doing or rather trying to do. I just remember one dialog by Nassiru Din Shah, “The poorest of men on earth can be the richest”. And since then, I somehow can’t get this out of my mind, “Did he try to point out Bill Gates?”.

Finally after stumbling for almost 2 months, I have got my brand new ViewSonic VG1930WM 19″ WideScreen LCD monitor. I gathered the money almost 2 – 3 months ago, but was not able to decide which monitor should be purchased. For last two months, I stumbled on Samsung SyncMaster 940NW which was a bit costlier for the features, AOC 199S which was also costlier, ViewSonic VG1930WM which provided the same features, but the price was a bit attractive. I browsed through enormous monitor reviews, huge price lists on the internet and what not. Then in the beginning of this month when I was about to go to buy the monitor, I was told that the Paradise market remains closed on Sundays. Then, we have hectic schedule throughout the week, so could not go. Then these hyderabad serial blasts went off, again a hurdle.

One of my friends recently flamed me on yahoo saying what the hell are you up to “Bye Bye Windows, Hi Hi Linux ???”. Because I was having my status messages like “Bye Bye Windows”, “Fedora 7″ etc. etc. So, I have chosen the title for this post “Best Summer Ever” instead of “Bye Bye Summer’07″.

Today I saw Dus and Gangster in succession, not even a break of an interval. Dus was worth watching and I liked the suspense very much. Sanjay-Shilpa love story was quite bad … Half of the movie was copied and thats quite good thing which fascinates us – The Engineers, b’cos copy-paste is the key feature that we learn while doing our engg. degree course. I like this spirit. Overall I liked the movie and it was not a time waste.

I was never like this. I never liked movies. But what happened after buying this computer. I am just watching movies day n night. Its not so long, I bought my computer, but I have already watched around 20 movies. I think its just because of these windows. Because now and then, I just double click the thing and video starts, in the beginning I watch it in forwards and then I start watching the whole movie.Yesterday, I watched Ek Khiladi Ek Hasina and V for Vendetta. I watched V twice and for the third time yesterday. Its a good movie actually and the diolog delivery is specially admirable. I would like to have suggestions if you can, for a list of some good movies.
